Right – the holiday is over, so now I must get my butt back into the gym!
I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I have put on 3lbs during my holiday, with the couple of lbs that I gained whilst away at Rob’s birthday shindig in Marbs that’s a grand total of 6lbs that I need to shift pronto!
For breakfast I had the usual oats, ground flaxseed and pinch of cinnamon.
As I only had 1 massage client tonight it was like Widow Twankey’s wash room today trying to get up to date with the holiday washing before having to wash the towels from massaging.
I got to the gym and did Day 1 of Jamie Eason’s Fat loss program which felt pretty tough, seeing as I hadn’t really done anything for just over a week. Amazing how quickly you lose it! The workout looked like this:-
PUSHUPS 2 sets of 15 reps
SIDE LATERAL RAISE 3 sets of 10-12 reps
DUMBBELL BENCH PRESS 3 sets of 10-12 reps
TRICEP DUMBBELL KICKBACK 3 sets of 10-12 reps
SEATED CABLE ROWS 3 sets of 10-12 reps (I used the low row machine)
ALTERNATE HAMMER CURL 3 sets of 10-12 reps
HYPEREXTENSIONS (BACK EXTENSIONS) 3 sets of 10-12 reps (I used a Swiss Ball as we do not have the machine_
AIR BIKE 3 sets of 10-12 reps
STAIRMASTER – MODERATE 20 minutes (I used the bike as we do not have a Stairmaster in my gym)
After the workout had my lovely protein shake with almond milk.
Lunch was a salad, but I forgot to take a picture of it before devouring it – I am soooo hungry since coming home! Need to eat more protein so that my appetite is not on overdrive!
Dinner was a lovely recipe from Clean and Lean Diet Cookbook – James Duigan – Seared Sirloin with Rocket and Watercress Salad, which was totally delicious!, followed by Yeo Valley – Greek style natural yogurt and a couple of tbsp’s of granola.
